Comments: I contacted 9 contractors to install new central air in my home that is 23 years old. By far Los Andes was the MOST economical. I do not usually pick the lowest bid, but in this instance they were VERY comparable to the others. Pedro was very well informed and answered all my concerns, like every day for week while I was determining who would meet my needs. Fernando, owner, also reassured me of any doubts I might have. The crew arrived on time, installed in a day and could not have been more pleasant! Of course it remains to be seen if my ultra new system will last another 23 years but I have every confidence it will. If not I will be letting Home Advisor know if I have any problems. Hope anyone looking for Central Air will includes this company before deciding on a home improvement this expensive.

Our previous ac/heating system went totally out from another company and they did not honor their warranty. We had so much trouble with our previous company and the unit. Comments: I had a problem with my AC unit three months ago and Hired a company to come out and service the unit. They installed a new thermostat. This month when I turned my furnace on, nothing. I found these Los Andes AC Inc. on this site and read the reviews. They came out within a couple of hours and replaced the thermostat that was installed by the other company. I was shown that the other thermostat was an old model and it kept tripping the breakers. Fernando and Pedro installed the new thermostat and tested it several times to make sure it was working properly. They will be the only company I hire to do work on my house. Thank you Fernando and Pedro for great work!!

Comments: The air conditioning went out in my rental home on a day when the temperature was going to exceed 100 degrees. A family of five, including a 7-month-old baby lives in the home, so I needed to get someone out the same day. Jay from Los Andes was able to get there that afternoon. He resolved the problem quickly and patiently communicated over the phone with a grumpy support person from my home warranty company. The warranty company had given me permission to go out of network due to the situation but then wouldn't pay his rate which seemed very reasonable.

Comments: First of all the Tech. was there on time. He did a thorough job. vacuumed the unit, had to replace the pads. In this city the water is so hard areo cool pads are freaken expensive. He completely took apart the unit and cleaned a lubed everything. I wish I could remember his name, I Know he gave it to me, just forgot it. I would definitely use them from now on. Will have them come out in Winter to wrap it up for me. All in all a great experience.

Comments: I purchased a used split ac unit in really great shape and was looking for someone to install it. I didnt want to spend a lot of money on a new unit as I might be selling/renting my house in next year. Jacko came out and gave me an estimate and inspected the units condition. He mentioned he doesnt usually install used units but considering how well the one I purchased looked he said he would do it. He gave me an estimate on site and It was a little over my budget as the unit took the old R22 type freon. Which would of been lower in cost if it had the newer type. It took a good day for the install and everything went great!
